Therapy for Life Transitions & Decisions
When you’re not sure what comes next
There are times in life when the path that once made sense suddenly doesn’t.
Maybe you’re starting university and feeling overwhelmed by the expectations and independence that come with it. You’ve graduated and are wondering what you’re supposed to do next. You’re questioning your career, relationship, identity, or the future you thought you wanted.
Sometimes there isn’t anything obviously wrong. You may simply have reached a point where the life you’re living no longer feels like the life you want.
Major decisions can bring up anxiety, self-doubt, pressure, and endless overthinking. It can become difficult to separate what you want from what you think you should want, or what other people expect from you.
How I Can Help
Therapy doesn’t have to be a place where someone gives you the answer.
Instead, we can slow things down and explore what’s making the decision or transition feel so difficult. We might look at your values, fears, expectations, relationships, past experiences, and the different parts of you that seem to want different things.
Sometimes clarity comes not from thinking harder about a decision, but from better understanding what is influencing it.
I won’t decide which path is right for you. My role is to help you understand yourself more clearly so you can make choices that better reflect who you are and what you need at this stage of your life.
